Metaio Creator Blues? Look no further – Scope AR is here!

The last couple of weeks have been exciting for the augmented reality industry.  Scope AR launched our industry leading Remote AR at the Augmented World Expo (AWE 2015) trade show and received accolades for “Best new product demo.  Actual useful AR!”.

The other big news to hit the press was the recent acquisition of Metaio by Apple.  The question is, what does this mean for the AR industry and partners…  it remains to be seen.  A major player moving so strongly into AR is just the latest in a series of industry shifts that validate this powerful technology but those who are engaged in content creation and distribution just found themselves without a tool that has been in common usage for some time. So the question is:

“How do we replace Metaio Creator?”

Well we have your answer. If you are looking for a fast, flexible content creation and manipulation tool that doesn’t tie you down in terms of your tracking solution or your hardware delivery, there is only one answer: the Scope AR Content Creation Platform.

At Scope AR we have been pushing the limits of our industry leading Assisted Activity solutions and in the process, developing and honing our content tool set to the point where we can put a robust, intuitive platform directly in the hands of SME’s.  With 3D models and a set of instructions in hand, non-technical users can develop a user friendly solution in an amazingly short time. The Scope AR platform is easy to learn and easy to use, but make no mistake, it has some extremely sophisticated capabilities. Branching decision trees, configurable navigation and even procedurally generated animation, such as the ability to instantly generate common tasks like a fully configurable wrench and nut animation with a few clicks.

The Scope AR Content Creation Platform is currently testing in place with select partners. If you are interested in being one of those partners, or would like to be contacted on the official product launch date in the coming weeks, contact us at
